Job description

We are recruiting for an IT Engineer on a contract basis for a leading Government organization based in Portsmouth.

Responsibilities include:

1. Managing queue tickets assigned to their Hub and surrounding spokes, ensuring appropriate updates and call management to maintain service levels as per the contract.
2. Managing Hub stock and assets, including scanning items in/out of locations as per contract.
3. Managing disposals through their Hub in accordance with contract requirements.
4. Performing hardware repairs on in-warranty equipment and liaising with vendors for parts and returns.
5. Replenishing lockers where appropriate, as per contract.
6. Highlighting potential issues and service improvements to the Team Leader.
