We are hiring an experienced IT Engineer with strong expertise in Infrastructure and Applications to join an esteemed wealth management firm on an exciting and critical project.
Job Title: Officer
Job Purpose: Work within the IT Infrastructure Team to support daily tasks and ongoing projects, including user support, under the guidance of the IT Infrastructure Team Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and manage Windows Server and Desktop Administration, including infrastructure checks, backups, server management with VMWare vSphere, and desktop management with VMWare Horizon.
- Manage Active Directory Group Policies, security hardening, script running, application control, and support for Workspace One MDM system.
- Assist with DNS, DHCP changes, and Windows patching.
- Provide second-line user support for Office 365 applications, peripherals, email issues, meeting room equipment, and user account management.
- Investigate and escalate network issues.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience with Windows Domain environment management, including Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP.
- Experience with Windows OS hardening to CIS standards.
- Experience with On-Premises VMWare, storage provisioning, and MDM systems like Workspace One/Airwatch.
- Experience with AWS server and storage deployments.
- Support experience with video conferencing platforms and remote user support.
Additional Details:
- Location: Liverpool Street
- Rate: £220/day
- IR35: Inside (PAYE)
- Duration: 12 months initial contract
