We are currently seeking an IT Engineer to join our Information Technology Team in our UK Offices.
Your role will encompass:
• Serve as the technical point of contact for local METLEN business users for all IT-related activities in the West Europe region.
• Perform a broad range of IT operations, including user support, IT infrastructure, security, network management, IT procurement, and IT asset management.
• Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and IT teams to develop system requirements and specifications.
• Manage the second level support operations in the region.
• Ensure the uninterrupted operation of all construction sites in the UK & Ireland.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft SharePoint Online including document libraries, forms, and permissions.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365 services including Intune, OneDrive, Teams, and Exchange Online.
• Apply Information Security best practices, including access control, encryption, patch management, and securing IT assets.
• Manage networking infrastructure and concepts including TCP/IP, IP subnetting, routing, VLANs, and networking devices such as firewalls, routers, and switches.
• Train and support users on both new and existing systems and processes.
What you bring to the role:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related scientific field.
• 3+ years of experience in in the IT sector across various levels of responsibility and IT system administration and support roles.
• Proven experience in IT Service Management and SLA tracking.
• Knowledge of Active Directory replication and familiarity with DNS, DHCP, LDAP
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
• Familiarity with SCCM platform
• Holding certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or MCSE: Core Infrastructure is a plus.
• Willingness and ability to travel within the area of responsibility.
