The Role

We are currently seeking an IT Engineer based in London, who is capable of spearheading IT technical solutions and providing a variety of IT support for UK and EU employees. The eligible candidate must be resourceful, technical, cool under stress, and love to work in a fast paced, multinational environment. You must have a sense of autonomy and job ownership. We are looking for someone with a high level of service focus and customer-first mentality who wants to grow their career alongside the rest of the business in the region.


What You'll Do
  • Interact with internal clients to help to resolve all levels of IT-related issues and provide answers promptly
  • Evaluate and test new technologies (hardware/software)
  • Build and maintain vendor relationships, manage the purchase of hardware and software products and ensure that company assets are maintained responsibly
  • Manage and deploy corporate PCs/Macs
  • New hardware configuration
  • Machine image maintenance
  • Diagnosis and repair
  • Coordinate warranty repairs
  • Manage VOIP phone system and distribution of equipment
  • Maintain inventory and IT asset data (serial numbers, software keys, locations, etc.)
  • Shipping, recycling, and disposal of computers, peripherals
  • Assist in the management of hosted IT applications (Okta, Google G Suite, Egnyte, Zoom, MS O365 etc.)
  • General IT routine tasks including:
  • IT account management for on-/off-boarding of employees
  • Diagnosing and repairing end-user IT devices
  • IT ticket management
  • Resolve escalated technical IT matters
Requirements
  • 4+ years of professional experience in desktop support, IT infrastructure engineering, or similar IT roles
  • Eligible to live and work in the UK
  • Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related discipline
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills in English
  • Able to travel cross-region (<10% travel time expected)
Nice to Have
  • Certificate(s) of CCNA / CCNP / CMNO /MCSE
  • Professional experience in supporting MS Windows 11, Mac OS, iOS
  • Knowledge of general IT security controls and best practices
  • Experience documenting IT applications and training users
  • Previous experience managing/mentoring colleagues
  • Previous working experience in a global organization across multiple regions & time zones
  • Four-year degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related discipline
