A great opportunity for an experienced IT support professional who enjoys working directly with end users. This fully on-site role involves providing day-to-day technical support at a single client location, handling everything from walk-up queries and inductions to break-fix incidents and small project work.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Troubleshooting and resolving software and hardware issues
  • Responding to ad-hoc walk-ins from staff with IT problems
  • Delivering IT inductions for new starters
  • Managing and prioritising your own queue of tickets
  • Maintaining a strong first-time fix rate
  • Building and maintaining good working relationships with the client
  • Escalating issues where needed and supporting wider project work
  • Keeping documentation accurate and up to date
  • Supporting and mentoring 1st line colleagues where possible

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in a similar support role
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a calm, methodical approach
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows systems, and cloud technologies (e.g. Intune, Azure)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Understanding of network infrastructure
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to keep learning
