Overview

IT End User Computing Engineer

Full Time - Permanent

Location: Hillington, Glasgow (Must be able to travel to offices for training)

Salary: Up to £39,000.00 per annum (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

We have an opportunity for an IT End User Computing Engineer to join our team in the IT department based in Hillington, Glasgow.

This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a shift rotation: 8-4, 9-5, 10-6.

Duties Of This Role Include
  1. Undertake typical break fix and support activities on all EUC related infrastructure, both on-site and remotely, including general maintenance and system upgrades.
  2. Resolve EUC issues and escalations within defined timescales.
  3. Ensure all work is properly logged and prioritized.
  4. Resolution of EUC-related incidents and problems.
  5. Provide out of hours support when necessary.
  6. Deliver high levels of support to Circle Health Group’s central infrastructure and other critical systems.
  7. Configure, support, and develop secure EUC platforms.
  8. Support the delivery of major EUC projects and change programs.
  9. Follow and develop team processes.
  10. Travel to sites as required.
  11. Support the Service Desk to meet SLAs.
  12. Document all project phases for knowledge transfer.
  13. Act as the key liaison between the IT Service Desk and the EUC team.
Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria
  1. At least 3 years of experience in an End User Computing or Desktop Support role within a medium/large organization.
  2. Experience with EUC technologies such as group policy management, Windows 7/10, physical hardware, Active Directory, Office 365, scripting, Mobile Device Management, virtualization, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Windows networking.
  3. Over 1 year of experience in image design and deployment technologies.
  4. Over 1 year of experience with vendor patching and patch management technologies.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to set personal objectives aligned with business and team goals.
