Job Description: IT Director

Our client, a leader in advanced therapies, is seeking an experienced IT Director to lead the IT group, set strategic objectives, and support both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with CFO and operational leaders to develop strategy and objectives.
2. Build, develop, and coach the IT team.
3. Partner effectively with internal customers.
4. Deliver IT services, ensuring access and integration with company systems and infrastructure.
5. Maintain data and system security, balancing effectiveness and collaboration needs.
6. Improve IT services continuously for stakeholders.
7. Manage IT service delivery within budget constraints.

Required Experience:

1. At least 10 years of senior management IT experience.
2. Proven track record of delivering results quickly.
3. Experience providing IT services to customers.
4. Experience in GMP or highly regulated environments.

Preferred Experience:

1. Experience with agile product development.
2. Experience with Lean Six Sigma.
3. Infrastructure delivery experience (networking, hardware).
4. Data science project delivery experience.

Preferred candidates will have a background in Pharmaceuticals or Biosciences, with experience working with government and funding agencies.

This role manages a team of 15 within the IT department, based near Stevenage with hybrid working arrangements.
