Job description

This well established and highly regarded Independent Chartered Accountancy Practice is looking for an experienced IT Director to lead the firm's technology operations and projects.

You will be responsible for working closely with the Partner team to ensure that the IT infrastructure supports the firm's commitment to excellence and client service.

In addition to IT Infrastructure and operations you will also be responsible for;

• Governance and Security
• Vendor and License Management
• Strategic Leadership
• Project Management
• Training and Communication

The successful candidate will have;

• Proven experience as an IT Director within a Professional Services firm -ideally an Accountancy or Legal Practice.
• Strong techincal knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, AVD and leading Accounting and Tax software.
• Proven success in IT operations, infrastructure management and vendoroversight.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.

Exeperience of AI and RPA tools and their application within professional services would also be welcomed.
