Role Description

Job Purpose

Reporting to the Head of IT – Operations & Finance, this role will be responsible for defining, standardising, delivering, monitoring, refining, and withdrawing technology solutions and products that support and maximise results in Finance functions.

Strategic Consultancy

Define the strategic direction of Group SAP Finance and Controlling solutions, understanding solution capabilities and guiding IT and business functions.

Business Management

Establish relationships with key stakeholders, perform internal research, drive product development and alignment, and manage budgets.

Product Delivery Management

Define product roadmaps, coordinate resources, and manage product lifecycles.

Resource Management

Oversee internal and external delivery teams, prioritize resources, and maximize value.

Dimensions
  • Manage projects with an asset value up to £2 million annually
  • Provide technology solutions across all Princes Group Finance worldwide
  • Manage a team of up to 15, including 8 direct reports
  • Travel may be required

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Knowledge

  • Degree in IT or related field
  • Recognised Accountancy Qualification or QBE
  • Deep understanding of SAP FI/CO/PP/MM/SD and finance processes
  • Knowledge of tax reporting, system interfaces, financial consolidation, and emerging technologies
