Job Title: IT Delivery Engineering Manager

Location: Bridgend, South Wales

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

Job Type: Full time, Permanent

Working Hours: 5 days a week 9am to 5.30pm, Flexible hours between 8am - 6pm

We are looking for an enthusiastic cloud focussed specialist with a passion for customer service with previous experience of working within the ICT sector, preferably in an IT Delivery or IT Manager role.

You will be responsible for Leading a team of IT delivery engineers.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment where team morale and culture are paramount.
  • Develop and implement training programs and initiatives to support the ongoing professional development of team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Champion a customer-centric approach to service delivery, ensuring that customer satisfaction is prioritised in all interactions and that the team is empowered to go above and beyond to exceed customer expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business needs and goals, providing strategic guidance and recommending technology solutions that align with their objectives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, making recommendations for service enhancements and innovations that will benefit both our clients and our team.
  • Work closely with our IT Project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Work alongside the IT delivery engineers to deliver IT projects. (Typical projects include Email migrations, Firewall installations, Email Threat Protection implementation),
  • Create documentation and knowledge base articles to assist users in resolving common issue.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively and professionally with end-users.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices through ongoing training and professional development.

About You

Job Experience Required:

  • Have an ICT background within an MSP with experience of leading a team.
  • Solid experience in customer service (excellent verbal and written communication skills required).
  • Technical expertise in IT infrastructure and systems administration, with proficiency in networking, Security, and cloud technologies
  • Essential experience with Microsoft 365, Premise based servers, virtualisation technologies, SharePoint, Azure. Backup Solutions and security firewalls.
  • Loves working as part of a team
  • Comfortable with using CRM's and documentation solutions
  • Holds a Full UK valid driving license
