Job summary

DX Network Services Limited in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced MS SQL Database Administrator to manage and optimize critical SQL Server environments across on-premises and cloud platforms.

Job description

Salary: £24,000 - 56,000 per year

Requirements
  • Friendly, hard-working team player who is positive, self-motivated, approachable, and detail-oriented
  • Proficiency in managing and optimizing MS SQL databases
  • Experience with MS SQL Server Management and monitoring tools such as RedGate, Spotlight, or SQL Sentry
  • Proven ability to maintain database availability, performance, and security
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot database issues efficiently
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is preferred
  • PowerShell scripting knowledge is advantageous
  • Ideally, 5–10 years of relevant database administration experience
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Clear communication skills for liaising with development and other IT teams
