About The Role

IT Services are responsible for all aspects of information-technology support and delivery across our University, providing a first-class experience to our students, staff and other stakeholders as they pursue their studies and work both on-campus and beyond.

This is your opportunity to join our IT support team, delivering a wide range of IT support to our customers - remotely via our telephone support line and face-to-face at our Help Desks.

With a minimum of two A levels in relevant subjects, you will have good communication skills and a customer-orientated outlook. Knowledge of a broad range of desktop applications and software tools is essential. Experience of working with computer systems in a corporate environment would be advantageous.

This position will work to our standard shift pattern of 8.45am – 5.00pm on weekdays.

Our team work in an agile manner with a balance of onsite/offsite working.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver IT support to customers remotely via the telephone support line and face-to-face at Help Desks.
  • Operate within an agile team to provide timely and effective IT services.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of two A levels in relevant subjects.
  • Good communication skills and a customer-orientated outlook.
  • Knowledge of a broad range of desktop applications and software tools.
  • Experience of working with computer systems in a corporate environment would be advantageous.
