Career Teachers are currently recruiting qualified QTS / QTLS IT / Computer Science Teachers to start as soon as possible.

Role Overview

We are looking to appoint passionate and qualified IT / Computer Science Teachers who are ideally seeking long-term work and are available to start immediately to meet the high demand from our partner schools.

We collaborate with a wide range of Secondary Schools across Birmingham and surrounding areas, offering flexible working options including part-time and full-time hours. Assignments can be short-term or long-term, with some leading to permanent positions.

The position advertised is for temporary supply work.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• A degree in IT / Computer Science or a related field
• Right to work in the UK
• Experience teaching IT / Computer Science at KS3-4
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Passionate and dedicated to teaching and learning
• Enhanced child workforce DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
• Up-to-date safeguarding training (free online training available through Career Teachers)
• Full 10-year career history and references covering the last 2 years, including current and previous employers
