Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Manager to join our team to support several strategic project deliveries on a 24 month Fixed Term Contract. The role involves liaison within the programme teams to support identifying requirements and ensure compliant purchasing of goods and services alongside our Procurement and Legal colleagues. Managing existing call off contracts to ensure spend is tracked and Statements of Works are formed as per the contracted terms to ensure compliance is met and value is realised.

This is a fast-paced environment and will require a flexible approach and understanding that things may change daily; you will never be bored and will be challenged.

About you:

You will have excellent technical and communication skills, with the ability to manage your own workload. You will be a positive and proactive problem solver with the ability to manage a mixture of planned and reactive requirements at the same time to ensure that work is delivered on time and to a high standard. You will be a strong team player, but also self-sufficient and able to work independently.

You’ll bring experience of working in a Commercial Environment specifically in Technology and Portfolio, environment building and sustaining partnerships. You’ll have the ability to think strategically, plan effectively, and manage productive partnerships with external suppliers while working within UK Public Contract Regulations.
