Qualifications

• Previous experience of working with IT Procurement and Contract Management is preferred.
• IS literate, excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software packages essential.
• Knowledge of SAP Financials preferred.

Job description

Join Howdens as an IT Commercial Analyst based at our office in Brackmills Business Park, Northampton, with some home working. As a thriving FTSE 100 business, you will support the IT Commercial function, including creating IT purchase orders for goods and services.

As an IT Commercial Analyst, you will help increase visibility and control of IT discretionary spend, monitor contracts, and facilitate renewals. Reporting to the IT Commercial Manager, you will support infrastructure financial forecasts, involving stakeholder reviews and management reporting of forecast fluctuations.

You should be an excellent communicator, confident in building relationships with the team and third-party suppliers, ensuring procurement processes maximize IT budget return. Attention to detail is crucial as you assist with maintaining the IS contracts database, renewing contracts, and generating Management Information reports. You should be adaptable to organizational changes and aware of the company's structure.
