Job description

Our client - a globally recognised beauty and personal care brand are seeking an experienced IT Business Systems Manager to ensure the stability of existing systems while driving forward innovation through smart integrations and data-led improvements.

IT Business Systems Manager
Salary: Up to £70,000
Location: Fully Remote (UK-based candidates only)

Our client - a globally recognised beauty and personal care brand are seeking an experienced IT Business Systems Manager to ensure the stability of existing systems while driving forward innovation through smart integrations and data-led improvements.

You'll be the linchpin for business-critical middleware, ensuring continuity as knowledge transitions from a key leaver. You'll also support small-scale developments and new integrations - particularly from eCommerce platforms - and have the opportunity to explore how better use of data, from warehousing to analytics, can bring added value to the business.

What's on Offer

  • Up to £70,000 depending on experience

  • Fully remote role (UK-based)

  • Work with a major consumer brand during a period of high investment and transformation

  • Broad and varied remit with real autonomy

The Role

In this role, you'll manage the internal systems landscape end-to-end - from keeping middleware services stable and fully operational, to integrating new tools and exploring smarter use of business data. You'll work closely with key stakeholders across operations, eCommerce, finance, and more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain continuity of critical middleware systems - including capturing and transferring knowledge from a key leaver to ensure long-term stability

  • Lead the development, enhancement, and integration of internal business systems (ERP, logistics, finance, etc.)

  • Deliver small-scale developments and integrations, particularly from eCommerce platforms and business apps

  • Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and translate them into practical solutions

  • Write and optimise complex SQL queries to support both systems functionality and ad hoc data needs

  • Support the business's data ambitions - from consolidation to early-stage analytics and warehousing

  • Maintain robust documentation and ensure processes align with change control and compliance standards

  • Manage external development partners and act as a central point of coordination across IT projects

What You'll Bring

  • Strong experience in system/application development in a business environment

  • Advanced SQL skills - confident writing, optimising, and troubleshooting queries and procedures

  • Familiarity with system integration and APIs, ideally across ERP, eCommerce, or logistics platforms

  • A structured and reliable approach to system stability, knowledge capture, and process documentation

  • Experience in supporting middleware platforms and managing small-scale change

  • A forward-looking approach to data use, with an interest in consolidation, analytics, or warehousing
