As an IT Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and optimizing operational efficiency within the department. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop strategies to enhance my client’s products and services. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of technology, ideally from within a telecoms company, coupled with strong analytical skills and business acumen.

Key Responsibilities for the successful Business Analyst candidate will be:

1. Conduct a comprehensive analysis of business processes, systems, and technologies.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
3. Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to extract insights and identify trends, driving data-driven decision-making.
4. Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and project plans.
5. Lead cross-functional teams in the implementation of process improvements, system enhancements, and new product launches.
6. Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs), providing recommendations for optimization and continuous improvement.
7. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.

Experience needed:

1. Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the telecommunications or Information Technology industry.
2. Deep understanding of various telecoms and/or software technologies, networks, and systems.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting findings to stakeholders.
5. Familiarity with project management methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall.
6. Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques, including requirements elicitation, process modelling, and data analysis.
7. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
8. Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Business Analysis Professional – CBAP) preferred.
