IT Business Analyst

Are you an experienced IT Business Analyst with a passion for financial services and private equity? We are seeking a dynamic professional to join our client as a key strategic partner between business units and technology. This is a fantastic opportunity to be one of the early team members in a growing function, playing a critical role in aligning IT solutions with their operational objectives and long–term strategy.

As an IT Business Analyst, you will be the key protagonist charged with ensuring business and IT stakeholders are aligned and able to articulate a clear set of requirements for IT solutions, focusing on the private equity industry. You will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders, internal teams across all business functions, and external vendors to identify, assess, and implement technology solutions that drive operational efficiency, enhance reporting capabilities, and strengthen our overall IT strategy.

The chosen candidate will need to demonstrate clearly that they can:

1. Engage with business stakeholders to gather and understand their requirements related to investment management, fund administration, reporting, operational efficiencies, and portfolio analytics. Convert these requirements into detailed technical specifications for the IT team.
2. Work alongside IT teams to design, configure, and deploy technology solutions tailored to the needs of private equity, including portfolio management software, CRM systems, and financial reporting tools.
3. Review current business processes to identify areas for improvement and implement automation and system integration to boost efficiency.
4. Collaborate with third–party vendors and software providers to ensure that their solutions meet our business needs, including participating in contract negotiations and overseeing system enhancements.
5. Act as the main liaison between IT and the business, ensuring clear and consistent communication regarding system developments and business needs.

Strong understanding of private equity operations, investment management, and portfolio reporting systems is highly desired.
