Job summary

CMC Consulting Ltd in Milton Keynes is seeking an IT Audit Manager to lead independent assurance over technology, digital platforms, cyber security and resilience.

You will plan and deliver IT audits, work with Digital, Data and Technology colleagues, and report evidence-based assurance to senior stakeholders and the Audit & Risk Committee.

Qualifications

• 6+ years IT audit experience in practice, internal audit, risk or tech assurance.
• Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor (or working towards).
• Experience with cloud environments, digital platforms and data governance.
• Confident communicating and challenging at senior level.
• SAP S/4HANA knowledge is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Lead reviews of IT general controls, including access, change management and IT operations.
• Assess cyber and information security controls against recognised frameworks (ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials).
• Review business continuity and disaster recovery readiness.
• Use data analytics and digital tools to strengthen audit testing.
• Track and validate follow-up actions so risks are mitigated sustainably.

Join a purpose-led organisation with ultra high growth. We're looking for an IT Audit Manager to lead independent assurance over our client's technology, digital platforms, cyber security and resilience.

The role

Sitting within the Internal Audit & Risk team, you'll plan and deliver IT audits, work closely with Digital, Data and Technology colleagues, and give senior stakeholders and the Audit & Risk Committee clear, evidence-based assurance. You will:

• Lead reviews of IT general controls, including access, change management and IT operations
• Assess cyber and information security controls against recognised frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials)
