Job summary

TIP Group is seeking an IT Audit & Compliance Officer to join our security‑minded team in Manchester. You’ll lead IT audit activities, design the internal audit plan around NIST CSF pillars, and ensure ongoing compliance across policies and procedures.

You will work with Security Compliance and Legal to address privacy and data protection risks while maintaining strong collaboration within a hands‑on team that values your input. This role sits at the heart of cybersecurity and audits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in an IT audit or compliance role.
• Ability to interpret frameworks and translate them into practical controls.
• Strong organizational, time-management and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Be the lead contact for IT and manage internal and external audit teams.
• Design and maintain the IT Internal Audit plan aligned to NIST CSF pillars.
• Monitor IT areas for compliance with policies and procedures.
• Ensure testing and auditing activities support ongoing certification.
• Collaborate with Security Compliance and Legal to manage privacy and data protection risks.
• Contribute input in a supportive, hands-on team environment.
