TIP Group is seeking an IT Audit & Compliance Officer to join our security‑minded team in Manchester. You’ll lead IT audit activities, design the internal audit plan around NIST CSF pillars, and ensure ongoing compliance across policies and procedures.

You will work with Security Compliance and Legal to address privacy and data protection risks while maintaining strong collaboration within a hands‑on team that values your input. This role sits at the heart of cybersecurity and audits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in an IT audit or compliance role.
• Ability to interpret frameworks and translate them into practical controls.
• Strong organizational, time-management and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing

• Be the lead contact for IT and manage all internal and external audit teams where IT involvement is required
• Design and maintain the IT Internal Audit plan to ensure continued adherence to NIST 2.0 Cyber Security Framework (CSF) pillars
• Monitor activities of assigned IT areas to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures including monthly, quarterly, and annual account and activity reviews
• Ensure execution of required testing and auditing activities for the IT Department by internal and external parties leading to successful certification of the company on an ongoing basis
• Work collaboratively with Security Compliance and Legal teams to identify and manage privacy, data protection risks, and compliance requirements to help meet stakeholder expectations
• Working closely with a supportive, hands-on team that values your input

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years' experience of working in an IT audit or compliance role
• Organized, inquisitive, innovative problem solver with the ability to perceive, understand and interpret facts quickly and precisely
• Professional with solid time management skills, the ability to multitask and see the big picture
• Professional who stays abreast of technology advancements, and who offer a work history of preventing, detecting and remediating compliance violations
• Ability to work in a challenging and fast paced environment, leveraging current knowledge and demonstrating strong problem-solving skills

Desirable Skills

• Any other European languages
• Team player, able to work closely with peers to reach common goals
• Any recognised Audit & Risk qualifications, e.g. ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor, Certified Systems Information Auditor (CISA).
