Places for People is seeking an Asset & Connectivity Administrator based in Preston to manage IT hardware, software, licences and peripherals across their lifecycle. You will maintain asset records, track usage and location, and support procurement and disposal processes while ensuring licence compliance.

As our Asset & Connectivity Administrator, you will help manage our IT hardware, software, licences and peripherals throughout their lifecycle. You will maintain accurate asset records, track usage and location, support procurement and responsible disposal, monitor software licence compliance and produce reports for stakeholders. You will also work with IT security and other teams to improve processes, reduce costs and provide first-line support for connectivity incidents.
This role is based in Preston 5 days a week.
At Places for People, we are committed to a safe working environment so a basic DBS check is mandatory.
You will be organised and analytical, with a strong focus on accuracy and effective problem-solving. You will be comfortable working across teams and managing detailed records, while balancing security, compliance, cost and operational requirements. Knowledge of IT procurement, contract negotiation, data protection or ITIL would be beneficial, but it is not essential. No criminal record check is required for this role.
