IT Asset Management Analyst - 12 Month FTC

IT Asset Management Analyst will spend time learning the processes that currently exist within the ITAM team, specifically around requesting quotes from vendors, receiving goods, and updating purchase orders within ServiceNow, our asset management and tasks repository. The role also involves Hardware Asset Management and some residual Starters, Movers & Leavers and access control tasks. The IT Asset Management Analyst will participate in implementing procedures for tracking company IT hardware and software assets over their lifecycles, while providing a high-quality customer service experience to the firm.

What You'll Do:

1. Perform inventories and usage monitoring of all IT hardware and software assets, recording findings, changes, and physical locations in the Firm's ITSM toolkit (ServiceNow).
2. Request quotes for hardware and software, assess pricing, and seek approvals to ensure efficient order placement.
3. Create and update Purchase Orders, ensuring all goods have been delivered to the site.
4. Manage vendor relationships and understand key contracts owned by ITAM.
5. Create transfer orders when IT equipment is sent from site to site, ensuring delivery is checked and transfer orders are updated on ServiceNow.
6. Take ownership of incidents and requests through to completion, providing regular and informed updates to requestors.

Who We're Looking For:

1. Experience with administering ServiceNow, particularly the Asset Management Database.
2. Good understanding of IT asset management lifecycle processes.
3. Experience in IT procurement, raising purchase orders, and receiving stock.
4. Knowledge of the ITIL framework, especially around Asset Management, Request Fulfillment, and Configuration Management.
5. Understanding of desktop/laptop hardware.
6. Proactive in identifying areas for improvement, sharing lessons learned, and encouraging team collaboration.
