Job summary

Government Property Agency in Cardiff seeks an IT Asset Manager to design and operate a robust IT Asset Lifecycle Management (ITALM) process. You will build a high-fidelity CMDB using a modern tech stack, govern end-to-end asset lifecycle from procurement to decommissioning, and ensure accurate asset data supports budgeting and strategic decision-making.

You will lead audits, maintain licensing compliance, and drive integration across ServiceNow, MID server, LogicMonitor, and other tools.

Qualifications

• Experience managing IT assets across full lifecycle.
• Ability to implement and govern CMDB processes.
• Knowledge of licensing, compliance, and security standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT asset lifecycle from procurement to decommissioning.
• Conduct regular physical and digital audits to ensure compliance.
• Integrate and maintain IT tooling for real-time asset monitoring and discovery.
• Forecast asset-related costs for budget planning and ROI.
• Develop ITAM policies aligned with government standards.
