Job summary

Deerfoot IT Resources Limited is seeking an IT Asset Coordinator in Hull, offering a hybrid working model. The role centers on owning the IT hardware and software estate, from procurement to disposal, and coordinating with global teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.

The successful candidate will maintain ITAM records, manage CAPEX spend, and support audits while collaborating with IS Technical and Security teams to keep kit available for new starters.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years' experience in an IT asset management or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM) software.
• Experience of Service Desk and ITSM tools.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory.
• Technical experience of Microsoft Windows.

Responsibilities

• Managing the full lifecycle of IT hardware and software, from procurement through deployment, maintenance and disposal
• Raising CAPEX requests for IT equipment and managing spend against them
• Keeping accurate records of laptops, phones, servers and software licences in the ITAM tool, and investigating discrepancies or missing hardware
• Coordinating joiner, mover and leaver logistics with IS Technical support, so every request is logged and new starters have kit ready on day one
• Leading audits, compliance requests and documented evidence-gathering processes, and escalating any breaches
• Producing asset usage and risk reports, and working with suppliers on repairs, replacements and renewals

Are you the person who always knows who has which laptop, which licences are sitting unused, and where the missing kit went? This permanent IT Asset Coordinator role, based in Hull and paying up to £35,000 plus bonus, puts you at the centre of a business's technology estate.

You'll work alongside the IS Technical and Security teams as the single source of truth for IT hardware and software, owning everything from procurement and CAPEX spend through to deployment, audit and disposal. This role offers real ownership. You'll manage the UK IT Administrators, report to the IS Technical Manager, and hold regular reviews with global teams to raise issues and drive process compliance.
