Job Description
Netcompany is seeking a detail-oriented IT Asset Administrator to join our Intelligent Service Desk team in Leeds. In this full-time, office-based role, youll support end-user hardware operations, ensuring efficient asset management and logistics.
Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate stock records, updating asset management tools, and handling the reclaiming, preparation, and dispatch of IT equipment.
This role offers a great opportunity to work in a company at the forefront of tech and operations with a potential to develop into other roles within the organisation. Youll contribute directly to service efficiency and client satisfaction while collaborating with a dynamic on-site team.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain an organised stock inventory of laptops, peripherals, and other hardware in line with demand and forecasts within an Asset Management Tool, ensuring accuracy in asset lifecycle tracking.
- Perform weekly and monthly stock audits, reconciling physical hardware with digital records.
- Flag low stock, replenishment needs, and unreturned assets to supervisors promptly.
- Liaise with courier services for collections, deliveries, and return logistics
- Proactively contact users to coordinate hardware reclaims, ensuring timely and professional communication.
- Work closely with the service desk and service delivery teams to fulfil device requests and resolve logistics blockers
- Build, configure, and wipe laptops according to internal imaging processes for outgoing shipments
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Must be UK National able to achieve SC Clearance.
- Confident communicator, especially when coordinating with users or vendors, speaking and writing English fluently.
- Experience in logistics and warehousing.
- Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to follow documented build procedures with consistency.
- Comfortable working with inventory systems or asset tracking platforms and MS Office applications.
- A proactive mindset with a solution-first approach to day-to-day challenges.
