Job description

The role offers long-term security and opportunities for progression into a permanent position. The IT Apprentice will work on the Helpdesk, providing 1st line support to staff, investigating IT issues, and assisting in delivering effective IT support services. Responsibilities include routine maintenance, support of software packages, and focus on the ERP system, including logging issues and bugs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain high standards of support and helpdesk administration
  • Assist in IT projects development and delivery
  • Support IT users and infrastructure
  • Communicate updates and ticket statuses effectively
  • Build PCs and deliver to users as per scripts
  • Perform system checks and escalate issues
  • Coordinate support tasks within the IT team

Training is delivered virtually by experienced professionals, focusing on real-world technology skills. Successful apprentices will earn a Level 3 ICT Technician qualification, learning to operate and manage ICT infrastructure, automate deployment, support systems, and maintain standards.

The role involves working Monday to Friday, shifts to be confirmed.
