About the Role:

As an IT Apprentice, you'll be an integral part of our Software Development team, working closely with Software Analysts to ensure our software meets the highest standards. You'll be involved in every stage of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and analysis to design, coding, and system testing. Your role will also include supporting, maintaining, and enhancing existing systems, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.

While working, you will also be studying towards a recognised 4-year qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in story mapping and build strong working relationships with the business.
• Perform requirements gathering, analysis, design, coding, and unit testing for new and existing systems.
• Conduct effective programme testing and produce comprehensive test cases.
• Demonstrate the company's values and behaviours, use Jira, Miro, and Confluence effectively, and manage workloads efficiently.

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 5 GCSEs including Maths and English.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with MS Office products.
• Analytical thinker, reliable, and conscientious.
• Willingness to work in different locations for short periods if required.
• Previous work experience is desirable but not essential.
• Openness to change and a proactive attitude.
