Apprentice IT Support Technician (m/f/d)

We are seeking a motivated individual interested in pursuing a career in IT, with the goal to develop from an Apprentice into a qualified IT Technician.

Your main tasks
  • Adding, amending, and removing user accounts.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving or escalating desktop or network computer issues.
  • Using Ticket system to document employee support requests.
  • Providing support, including signposting to procedural documentation.
  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
  • Managing and updating hardware and software asset registers.
  • Installing and configuring computer operating systems and applications.
  • Diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults.
  • Supporting the delivery of IT rollouts and projects.
  • Supporting telephony and hardware infrastructure.
About You
  • GCSE Grade 4/C or above in English and Maths (or equivalent).
  • Technical IT knowledge, gained through education, self-study, or work experience.
  • Good communication skills and excellent timekeeping.
  • Ability to work constructively within a team.
  • Customer-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage changing workloads and priorities.
  • Reliable, determined, and trustworthy.
  • A 'can-do' attitude and willingness to learn.
