Hours: 40 hours a week Monday - Friday

Team Size: Small and agile (you’ll be 1 of 3 in the IT department)

We’re looking for a motivated and curious IT Apprentice – Tech and Innovation to join our close-knit IT team. What You’ll Be Doing:

As an IT Apprentice, you’ll get hands-on with:

  • Setting up and supporting hardware (laptops, phones, printers).
  • Troubleshooting software issues and user queries across multiple sites.
  • Learning how our systems (including Microsoft 365) keep the business running.
  • Logging and resolving support tickets with real responsibility.
  • Supporting rollout of IT and digital transformation projects.

As your skills grow, we’ll support your development in:

  • Supporting our move toward smarter systems and digital transformation.
  • Exploring AI tools like ChatGPT, Power Automate, or Zapier to improve business processes.
  • Collaborating with the team to drive innovation across the group.
  • Writing simple code or scripts to automate repetitive tasks.

Who We’re Looking For:

We’re not expecting you to be an expert — we’re looking for potential, drive, and curiosity.

Must-haves:

  • A real interest in IT, problem-solving, and digital tools.
  • Some experience with computers, even if it’s self-taught.
  • Great communication skills and a can-do attitude.
  • GCSEs in Maths, English and ideally IT or Science.

Nice-to-haves (but not essential):

  • You’ve dabbled with coding (Python, HTML, JavaScript).
  • You’ve explored AI tools or automation tools online.
  • You enjoy tinkering with tech or finding clever workarounds.
