Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Applications Change Manager to join our team!

As IT Applications Change Manager you will lead the IT applications team and be accountable for the operation, maintenance, delivery, and support of the business applications. You will be responsible for developing the applications strategy and roadmap, managing the lifecycle of software applications, making sure they support the business efficiently and align with the strategic objectives. In addition to this you will also be responsible for the line management of an IT Trainer, responsible for designing, documenting and delivering training, making sure colleagues are equipped with the necessary technical skills to perform their roles.

  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, manage performance, and foster a positive working environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
  • Ability to think strategically about technology and how it can be used to drive business objectives
  • Keep abreast of latest developments in the sector around applications and cloud services ensuring the best tools and practices are adopted.
  • Extensive experience in an IT Applications role.
  • ITIL Certification
  • Project management qualification, Prince2 or Agile.
  • Experience of Managing Teams
