DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a talented IT Applications Analyst Senior to join our Systems/Information Technology team in the DAV Systems Department, Daventry, UK.

This is a permanent role with 50% onsite work. The first 6 months will require 4 days a week onsite at Daventry, Monday to Thursday.

The role involves approximately 10% domestic and international travel to other UK sites, as well as sites in Australia and America, as needed.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead major IT projects, utilizing off-the-shelf and in-house solutions to deliver impactful results.
  • Translate business needs into efficient processes and IT solutions that enhance quality, scalability, and support.
  • Manage projects confidently using Waterfall or Agile methodologies, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence. Mentor junior team members.
  • Leverage latest IT advancements to optimize systems and unlock efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to maintain system performance, ensuring seamless business operations.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure solutions are user-friendly, aligned with business needs, and future-ready.
  • Utilize expertise in Oracle EBS, MES, PLM, and other technologies to design scalable IT systems.
Responsibilities:

To succeed, you should have:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle EBS, MES, and related technologies, including custom development and databases.
  • Proven success managing IT projects with Agile or Waterfall, including budget estimation and benefit analysis.
  • Understanding of cross-functional business processes, especially in supply chain and manufacturing.
  • Good knowledge of IT infrastructure to build integrated solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Possibility of licensing for export controls or sanctions compliance.
  • Intermediate relevant work experience required.
