Job summary

Siamo Recruitment a division of Siamo Group in Swindon seeks an IT & MI Analyst to support daily data operations and internal IT tasks. You will manage Salesforce reports, assist with data quality, and liaise with an external IT partner to resolve hardware and system issues.

The role is hybrid, focused on data insights and internal tech support, requiring strong analytical skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience using Salesforce to navigate records and run basic reports.
• Ability to prepare and adjust reports for financial data and lifespans.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfort explaining technical solutions to non-technical staff.
• Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders including IT partners.

Responsibilities

• Generate and distribute weekly, monthly, and quarterly compliance, portfolio, and business performance reports via Salesforce.
• Collaborate with Financial Advisors to provide data and adjustments when necessary.
• Routinely audit client data fields inside Salesforce to ensure accuracy.
• Assist with basic Salesforce user management.
• Report to Senior Leadership and coordinate with external IT partners.

About the role

We here at Siamo Recruitment are proud to working with one of South West’s leading financial service providers. With the view to grow and continue their award winning service our client is in the market for a IT & MI Analyst.

Our client has been established since the early 2000‘s and leads the way with their passion for providing an excellent experience.

As the IT & MI Anaylst you will be the backbone of our clients daily data and internal support functions.

You will have a hybrid split of responsibilities: handling regular business reporting through Salesforce and acting as our first-line internal tech contact, liaising directly with our external, third-party IT hardware management partner.

We are looking for a tech-savvy problem solver who is highly organised, analytical, and comfortable navigating software platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and distribute weekly, monthly, and quarterly compliance, portfolio, and business performance reports via Salesforce
• Working with Financial Advisors to provide regular data and deliver adjustments when necessary
• Routinely audit client data fields inside Salesforce to ensure accuracy
• Assist with basic Salesforce user management
• Reporting to Senior Leadership
• Completing general coordination and analytical duties
• Act as the first point of contact for internal staff experiencing basic IT queries or hardware issues
• Work with a 3rd party IT firm regarding queries and requests surrounding hardware, network, or server issues directly to our external IT support firm
• Track internal IT equipment (laptops, screens, headsets) and coordinate with 3rd-party firms for repairs or setting up new-starter kits

Ideal Candidate

• Practical experience using Salesforce to navigate records, update fields, or run basic reports
• Preparing and adjusting reports to suit Financial data and lifespans
• Working with process improvement
• Natural interest in AI with the want to develop
• Financial services exposure would be advantageous however not essential
• Holds a natural comfort with technology, with a logical approach to troubleshooting
• Ability to explain simple technical solutions to non-technical staff
• Comfortable manipulating basic data sheets and spotting irregularities
• Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders including financial planners and the confidence to manage service tickets with external IT partner
• Full UK Driving License with own vehicle due to remote location
