Who We Are
NHS Education for Scotland (NES) is the national health board with statutory responsibilities to effect sustainable change through workforce development, education and training across the health and social care system in Scotland, while working at UK level with partner organisations.
NES Technology Service (NTS)
NTS is responsible for delivering technological solutions to all NES internal and external customers. Digital Operations is the team within that directorate that delivers technological solutions to staff allowing them to work from within the offices or whilst on the move in an agile manner

- Work proactively, suggesting and implementing changes to local procedures and processes to improve efficiencies
- Installs and repairs a range of hardware and software to meet the site needs and ensures the security of all this equipment
- Ability to understand a range of work procedures and practices which require analysis and are associated with the role
- Plans, organises and delivers prioritised first-level reactive and proactive IT support to all NES staff
- Demonstrate honesty, integrity, care and compassion when dealing with others, utilising tact and persuasion skills when necessary
- Ability to work on own initiative, to organise and prioritise own workloads, to meet strict deadlines
