DHL, an award-winning, leading supply chain business, is seeking an IT Analyst to provide on-site support, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and manage the resolution of IT operational problems in hardware and networks.

What does the role entail?

As part of your duties, while maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting new business requirements with the installation and testing of applications and undertaking project work.
• Maintaining existing applications and assisting in developing reporting tools to analyse performance and identify improvements.
• Assisting with new projects, liaising with suppliers and procurement teams, coordinating hardware procurement, testing, and repairs.
• Acting as the first point of contact for IT queries, resolving problems referred by business teams and external customers, working with multiple support desks.
• Coordinating IT solutions delivery, liaising with central IT functions, and communicating with site operational colleagues, including change management and incident coordination.
• Participating in IT project delivery, serving as a site IT SME, and providing end-user support for effective IT usage.

What do we need from you?

• Experience in a similar IT Analyst role supporting business systems in operational environments, IT project support, or IT service management.
• Experience with systems implementation and stakeholder management.
• Technical or application knowledge (desirable).
• Experience working with and achieving Service Level Agreements.
• Experience in the logistics industry with IT automation solutions (desirable).
• Knowledge of supply chain/logistics industry (desirable).
