Overview - Weybourne
Established in 2013, Weybourne is the family office for a High-Net-Worth family. Weybourne manages investments and provides financial and other professional support to the Family, their estates, and business interests. The latter covers a wide range of sectors, including farming, aviation, financial investments, commercial and residential property, music and several others. We currently have a team of around 100 employees, whose roles cover accountancy, financial control, IT support, tax and treasury, property and investment management, security, risk, and HR based in both the UK and Singapore.
Overview - Department
The IT Department is currently looking for an IT Analyst to join the already established team of 14. You will work with the rest of the team to achieve the highest standards of IT service, delivering quality and efficient support to all members of Weybourne and its other entities.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Service Desk Manager, the individual will deliver the equivalent of 1st and 2nd line technical support across the Malmesbury site, local, national and international offices. International travel may be required of you. Paid out-of-hours support will be required, on a rotational basis, for urgent fault resolution. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate and resolve IT issues within the organisation. You must be self-motivated with the ability to recognise and respond to the changing needs of this very fast-paced, adaptable, and highly demanding environment. The candidate must demonstrate previous experience providing exceptional customer support skills and the ability to speak in non-technical language. This role is ideal for an ambitious candidate who wants exposure to different aspects of IT and is keen to progress and develop.
- 1st and 2nd line support/troubleshooting of IT-related incidents from in-house software to hardware such as iPhones, iPads, Laptops, Macs and Printers
- Troubleshoot basic network issues
- Log all calls in the Service Delivery tool
- To maintain a high degree of customer service to our user base and remote workforce for all support queries, and adhere to all service management principles
- Ensure the delivery of a highly reliable, available and responsive support solution
- Perform new hardware and software implementations
- IT project support - including working with project teams to ensure a successful transition to operations
- Maintaining an Asset Database and tracking changes
- Basic Active Directory tasks such as creating user accounts, resetting passwords, creating groups, etc
- Microsoft Office 365 Administration and configuration
- To document and maintain IT procedures and user instructions
- Developing and maintaining positive working relationships across the company and other family office entities

- Continuous improvement - taking the initiative to identify and implement improvements to products, services and processes

Requirements
- Hands-on experience in a busy IT Service Desk environment - managing user expectations and communications
- Interest and knowledge of the IT industry and its latest developments
- Solid, proficient problem diagnosis skills in a range of system types or applications. Ability to quickly diagnose and troubleshoot problems on a variety of systems and applications
- Understanding, Ethernet, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, firewalls and wireless networking
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft-based operating systems with an emphasis on Windows 11
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Admin
- Experience with using and troubleshooting the Office 365 suite
- Exposure to Windows Server
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure
- An understanding of ITIL
- Experience in supporting Apple devices, iPhones, iPads, and Macs
- Driven and committed individual with a focus on quality and developing oneself
- Ability to think creatively and devise innovative solutions to difficult problems
- Teamwork with non-IT personnel and the ability to complement cross-functional projects
- Microsoft Certifications are desirable
- Exposure to ERP systems (e.g. Epicor) is desirable
