Agile Project Manager, EUI Transformation
Euroclear is recruiting an Agile Project Manager (EPIC Delivery Owner) to play a key role in delivering a major technology and business transformation programme. You will be responsible for managing one or more diverse IT projects, such as business change or platform modernization, supporting multiple squads/scrum teams and IT delivery functions. You will engage with Senior Stakeholders, coordinate global colleagues, and resolve impediments to meet project goals. Adherence to IT Controls and budget management are also key aspects of this role.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Leading the development of project proposals and plans, determining timeframes, budgets, and resources, collaborating with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and technical experts.
- Working with analysts, product owners, architects, and project sponsors to analyze requirements and evaluate project feasibility within strategic scope.
- Supporting and motivating delivery squads to deliver on time and within budget, from initiation to transition to BAU.
- Overseeing technical, organizational, management, and financial aspects of projects, defining governance, scope, and responsibilities.
- Reporting progress to sponsors, senior management, and clients using tools like ServiceNow, dashboards, and presentations.
- Negotiating changes in scope, budget, or specifications with stakeholders and securing buy-in.
- Removing impediments, managing conflicts, negotiating inputs, and proactively managing risks and issues.
- Working with stakeholders to improve quality and productivity, ensuring compliance with Euroclear Agile standards.
- Managing workload across multiple projects.
Skillsets
You should have:
- Strong business and technical understanding from infrastructure or application development projects, with interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders.
- Proven experience leading medium to large projects through all lifecycle stages.
- Financial management experience using MS Excel and tools like ServiceNow or Clarity.
- Experience working in Agile environments with Scrum teams, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners.
- Proficiency with project planning tools such as MS Project, and Agile tools like MS Azure DevOps or Jira.
- Ability to produce progress reports and document risks, issues, and decisions effectively.
- Experience working in financial services or regulated environments.
Desirable qualifications include:
- Certifications such as Prince2 Agile, PMI ACP, or similar.
- Experience in banking or financial markets, especially with bond or equity settlement.
- Experience managing infrastructure projects.
