Job summary

Eurofins Uk Food Testing is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to uphold ISO17025 accreditation and oversee internal and external audits. The role supports laboratory quality systems, documentation, and KPI reporting, with responsibility for corrective actions and staff training.

The contract is fixed-term until 31 October 2027, part-time 18.75 hours per week, with flexible hours across Monday to Friday between 09:00 and 17:00 in Ipswich.

Qualifications

• Excellent working knowledge of ISO17025 requirements.
• Experience in UKAS accredited laboratories.
• Experience in quality and quality control functions.
• Auditing skills and critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accreditation to ISO 17025 and other relevant accreditations.
• Ensure UKAS, business and customer requirements are met within the scope of the laboratory.
• Facilitate external audits and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Maintain and amend site quality documentation.
• Lead internal audits and monitor audit plans and corrective actions.
• Investigate nonconformities and ensure root cause is established and actions implemented.
• Monitor customer complaints and queries with management.
• Review quality control checks and environmental monitoring.
• Coordinate management reviews and report quality metrics.
• Provide monthly quality KPI reports to management and directors.
• Train staff on ISO17025 and auditing.
