Job summary

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust on the Isle of Wight is seeking a Mental Health Support Worker to join our inpatient unit, working 30 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification or equivalent in a relevant area gained through experience or training.
• Care certificate completed, in process, or willingness to work towards.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills; literacy and numeracy.
• Ability to work effectively within a busy hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• To provide the highest standard of care for people with mental ill health under supervision.
• To work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues.
• To contribute to service improvements and uphold Trust policies.
