Job summary

Southern Housing is seeking Care and Support Bank Workers to join the Isle of Wight care teams. You will respond to residents’ care needs, assist with personal care, and maintain care plans and risk assessments across multiple schemes on the island, including Newport, Sandown, Shanklin and Ryde.

A driver and access to a vehicle are essential. You’ll work with dedicated teams, receive paid travel time, mileage, DBS and training, and opportunities for professional qualification study.

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
• Able to work as part of a team and unsupervised.
• Driving licence and access to a vehicle.

• Provide care and/or support as per person-centred plan, including personal care where needed.
