Job description

Nestled within the historic grandeur of the Grand Hotel Birmingham, Isaac’s restaurant offers a culinary experience that beautifully marries British brasserie cuisine with a touch of French flair. This elegant dining destination is a testament to the rich culinary traditions of the UK and reflects contemporary trends in modern gastronomy. With a focus on seasonal ingredients and locally sourced produce, Isaac’s creates dishes that are both familiar and innovative, making it a must-visit for locals and visitors alike. Additionally, we have launched our new jazz venue, Inspired by Ronnie Scott’s and the Soho jazz scene. Downstairs at The Grand brings the best live blues, jazz, and more to Birmingham.

This intimate speakeasy-style venue hosts weekly residencies from top-tier musicians, spanning jazz, boogie-woogie, cabaret, and West End musical theatre performances.

Downstairs at The Grand offers a unique experience and is a fantastic place to enjoy live entertainment. Grab an old fashioned, settle in, and soak up the sounds—there’s nowhere else quite like it in Birmingham.

Our hosts are the face of the venue; they set the tone of Isaac’s by welcoming guests and fulfilling their needs. They primarily manage bookings, making them an essential part of ensuring smooth service.
