Salary: £40,000 per annum plus quarterly commission scheme, car, and pension

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5pm

Role Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity in a growing industry sector. You will contribute to Veolia's regional market share in our Industrial Site Services Division, offering technical solutions like tank cleaning, water jetting, chemical handling, and vacuum services.

This permanent role suits individuals with excellent people skills and strong technical ability. You will evaluate client problems, prepare proposals, and develop our regional presence in line with corporate strategies.

Key tasks include:

• Growing and nurturing a sales pipeline
• Meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
• Managing projects from start to finish, including invoicing
• Conducting site surveys and preparing reports
• Engaging with clients to identify needs and prepare work scopes
• Planning resourcing and service delivery
• Undertaking risk assessments and preparing quotations
• Maintaining proactive communication
• Carrying out safety inspections
• Identifying new service opportunities
• Participating in emergency response duties

Candidate Requirements

• Technical knowledge from operational or sales roles
• Business development experience
• Knowledge of Health and Safety, IOSH preferable
• Full UK driving license
• Organized, proactive problem-solver
• Strong communication skills
• Flexibility in working hours
• Experience with Method Statements and Risk assessments
• Desirable: understanding of hazardous waste management, NEBOSH certification, experience in industrial cleaning
