Job description

Are you passionate about maintaining excellence in End-Point Assessment (EPA) and ensuring the highest quality standards? My client is seeking a detail-oriented Hospitality Quality Assurance Assessor to join our team and play a key role in upholding our commitment to outstanding assessment practices on a 9 Months FTC.


What You'll Be Doing:
  1. Conducting quality assurance sampling of EPA assessments in alignment with our Quality Strategy.
  2. Performing audit checks across all assessment standards to maintain compliance.
  3. Supporting appeals and investigations, ensuring fair and thorough evaluations.
  4. Carrying out assessment observations, both remotely and in person.
  5. Conducting apprentice and employer satisfaction checks to enhance service quality.
  6. Regularly monitoring invigilation activities to ensure compliance in EPA delivery.
  7. Managing the Sector Quality Tracker, maintaining alignment with EQA standards and internal QA policies.
  8. Providing assessment methodology support to EPAs, both remotely and face-to-face.
  9. Overseeing and maintaining the automated QA system, ensuring appropriate sampling percentages based on RAG status.

What You'll Bring to the Role:
  1. A recognised IQA qualification or equivalent.
  2. Relevant sector occupational qualifications and experience.
  3. Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English (or equivalent).
  4. Proficiency in ICT systems such as EPA Pro, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Skype.
  5. Experience working in high-demand environments, meeting targets and deadlines.
  6. Strong communication and self-motivation skills, with the ability to work independently.
  7. Experience in a Quality Assurance role within WBL/education.
  8. Ability to effectively use IT systems for reporting and record-keeping.
  9. Experience in administrative tasks, including report writing and maintaining records.
