AtSt Peter & St James Hospice we are seeking an IPU Team Leaderto join our dedicated team. This is a perfectopportunity for a compassionate skilled and proactive nurse who wantsdeliver expert palliative and end-of-life care in a supportive and collaborative environment. This role is a great opportunity for an experienced nurseready to take the next step in their career without (yet) having the responsibilities of an IPU Ward Manager.
Your role will involve:
We introduced the role of IPU Team Leader to support the IPU Ward Manager in delivering operational management ofRegistered Nurses Nursing AssistantsHealthcare Assistants as well as IPU Ward Volunteers. This post will provide necessary support in managing our growing and varied team of clinical professionals and progressing towards our organisational aims and vision.

I worked in Housekeeping then on the In-Patient Unit and am now in the Community Team undertaking a degree supported by the Hospice.
Its the people we work with and the community we serve that make it such a special place.
Ive been here for nearly 25 years and continue to enjoy supporting our patients their loved ones and carers both at home and at the hospice.
