We are seeking a dedicated Casual Grassroots Academy Scout to support Ipswich Town Football Club’s long-term vision of identifying and recruiting the most talented young players, aged U9-U12, across Ipswich and Suffolk.

The Casual Grassroots Academy Scout will be responsible for implementing the Club’s player identification and recruitment strategy, ensuring alignment with the Elite Player Performance Plan (EPPP) and the Player Performance Pathway. This role will focus on scouting grassroots football across Ipswich and Suffolk, building strong relationships within the local football community, and providing accurate and timely scouting reports to support informed recruitment decisions.

Working closely with the Head of Academy Recruitment, the Grassroots Academy Scout will play a key part in shaping the future of the Club by helping to identify and recruit players aged U9-U12 who fit the Academy’s player profiles.
