Job summary

Hertfordshire Partnership Foundation Trust is seeking an IPS Job Retention Specialist to join the Community Team. You will autonomously manage a caseload of service users to help them retain employment using the IPS model, working with HPFT community mental health teams and Primary Care.

The role includes advising on employment rights, reasonable adjustments, and return-to-work plans. The post is Band 5, permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week) based in East and North Herts, with a salary

Qualifications

• Educated to a degree level or equivalent.
• Job Retention Training or equivalent experience.
• IPS trained.
• Additional training in employment, mental health, coaching.

Responsibilities

• Carry a caseload of service users to help them return to work.
• Provide ongoing advice on employment rights and reasonable adjustments.
• Support with termination applications and workplace inclusion.
• Deliver IPS approach for service users seeking new employment.
• Develop rapid job search with local support networks.
• Source job opportunities and liaise with employers.
