A leading support service organization is seeking an Employment Specialist in Truro to help clients from drug and alcohol support services secure meaningful employment. The role involves assisting with CV writing, liaising with employers, and leveraging strong relationship-building skills. Candidates must have a full UK driving licence and experience in recruitment or employability support. This position offers a chance to make a significant impact on individuals' lives.
Successful candidates will work as part of the Individual Placement and Support Employment Specialist team.
Day-to-day responsibilities may include supporting clients with CV writing and interview techniques, as well as liaising with potential employers on behalf of clients. The IPS team aims to increase the number of people moving into meaningful employment from our drug and alcohol support service.
We are part of a large integrated drug and alcohol service working with some of Cornwall's most excluded and disadvantaged people.

You will be required to cover the Mid Cornwall area to meet clients in the community; therefore, a full UK driving licence and access to a car are required. The role is based in Truro.
