Job summary

Mind In Bexley Limited is seeking an Employment Specialist to support people with mental health needs into paid work within a clinical team. You will work with clients under Secondary Mental Health services, build rapport, assess vocational goals, and identify job opportunities in the hidden labour market.

You will provide ongoing support, collaborate with health professionals, and help employers understand supported employment principles to enable successful job retention.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
• Experience with mental health support needs or related client groups.
• Experience of one-to-one work and managing multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals to find paid employment and liaise with work providers.
• Develop links with employers and voluntary bodies to create opportunities.
• Provide ongoing support to clients and monitor outcomes in line with IPS practices.
