Job summary

South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Trust is recruiting an IPS Employment Specialist to support people across Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield in finding and sustaining meaningful employment using the IPS model. You will work within community mental health and primary care teams to help people reflect their strengths and ambitions.

We welcome applicants with transferable experience in employment support, recruitment, health, social care or community services.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or able to demonstrate competencies at degree level.
• Experience in health or social services or the voluntary sector, working with people who have experienced mental health problems and related employment difficulties.
• IPS training or equivalent training is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop personalised employment plans based on each person’s strengths, preferences and aspirations.
• Provide flexible support with job searching, CVs, applications, interviews, benefits, workplace adjustments and sustaining employment.
• Build relationships with local employers and work closely with clinical teams to make employment part of recovery.
