Job Opportunity: IPS Employment Specialist - Stafford & Cannock

We are seeking an Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Employment Specialist to cover Stafford & Cannock areas. IPS is an evidence-based approach to helping individuals in recovery find and maintain paid employment.

The IPS worker will support clients within the STaRS service, assisting them in securing and retaining competitive employment. This role involves developing employment opportunities with local employers and supporting clients and employers to ensure suitable job placements.

You will work closely with service users, Recovery Coordinators, care coordinators, JobCentre Plus, employers, trade unions, and employment agencies to promote sustained employment. Collaboration with practitioners in Staffordshire and partnership with specialist and primary/secondary care services are essential.
